What are some inexpensive and creative decorating a basement cement block?
Our (car) has a very dark country house cement block basement. Now, the blocks are painted in white and cream (not a fair employer) and the floor is painted dark gray. We use the basement a fitness room and a production area of scrapbooking. The lighting is terrible. Which means that we can illuminate the space and make it more accessible without making any permanent construction (remember that we rent) or to spend much money? Am I allowed to do what I want in the basement, it being understood that this is a basement (water inlet). I do not want to make permanent building because I'm not here very long. I want some ideas I can do, creatively speaking.
Here is my idea of a basement that needs a little gloss A. Since you want to be as light as possible so you're not afraid to go any time of day or night, trying to paint blocks stupid or lemon butter. This color is bright and cheerful and pleasant. There is also a good color for the training rooms. I also noticed that in the basement where the vault is completed, the light just seems to get wet on the floor in the ceiling. To assist the ceiling, you really should consider anything on it, reflecting light downward. You have to worry about what you put there as presenting a potential fire hazard, However, with the lights and everything, but eventually even some blank sheets cheep tack the floor of the vault can work. Might look kind of funky, but good … worth a try, or something similar elsewhere. Maybe even a plate of polystyrene. It sounds cliché, but it will help with lighting both! I think the lights placed high in every corner of the room will also work. Like Druggy what the guy stupid suggestion: Go Light Home Depot or elsewhere. Also a large rug or two independents to divide living spaces would be better. Change the color of the paint color on the floor perhaps a beige dark or even a lighter color if you want, then get the carpet in a bright color, too. Reds, oranges, peaches, yellows, beige, bronze, etc. all work well for cellar and clarify things up and warming. I do not recommend table lamps, because they seem to cause a species of low softer lighting and relaxing, that will not work for improvement. Maybe a desk lamp on a desk for treatment, but should be extended thereof. In addition, a large mirror in front of your team training is a necessity, especially in a basement. I spent the most money in that. I like going anywhere, too. Large posters insperational small, cheap, black plastic frames works very well in a work room. Research things that inspire you to move, to achieve, grow, etc., and matching bright colors you've chosen. Sometimes they come already framed. To recommend developmental WHITE furniture. reflecting the light to see what will become easier and cleaner and fresher look. Get your shelves cheap white plastic drawers to store your stuff in. There are those white plastic stackable "boxes" that are in vogue now that you can do very cheap at Walmart. You can stack two or three on top of another to save space and achieve more. Find an office, a large old white paint would be a good thing, and then perhaps buy bookshelves to plain white along the back that would be useful. The chair can be any What color. Regardless, the work for you. Try to stay away from gray, blue, silver, charcoal, black, etc., here. Will be cold and dark and hostile. Without metal or something. Plastic, wood, fabric, etc. is more warm and welcoming and comfortable. Anyway, I hope this has not helped and brought you to tears!
