for my wedding, i would love it if the guests brought in a favorite photo to help us with the?
begining chapter of our new life together. i want to start a Scrapbook and also use it as a guest book/wedding wishes/personal memos, instead of using a traditional book. does this seem tacky to ask for a photo in the invitation? or should we include as a side note in save the date cards?
The best thing to do is have someone take photos the day of the wedding.

That would be more appropriate than asking guests to bring a photo along.
I tend to think it is inappropriate to ask guests for anything . . . money for a gift, or food for a potluck reception, or photo for the guest book. It is just inappropriate to ask.
You want or need photos? Then have someone stationed by the guest book to take them.
